Email Service Disruption Resolved.
UPDATE Mon 20th April 12:00pm
The email service disruption affecting some hosting customers last week has been resolved. Our engineers worked with diligence to return the email service to normal. We are currently monitoring the service but are confident customers will not receive further email disruptions.
Domain Central will be performing additional upgrades to the mail platform in the coming weeks, which is expected to be non-disruptive and show dramatic improvements to performance.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and thank customers for their patience during this time.
UPDATE Thu 16th April 11:00 - Service Improvements
We have made some progress with improvements to the mail server platform.
The mail server is rapidly delivering outstanding mail messages to customer mailboxes, and we expect this to be completed in the next few hours.
We do expect the server performance to be slow as customers retrieve old messages, but things should be back to normal by this afternoon.
Domain Central will be performing additional upgrades to the mail platform in the coming weeks, which is expected to be non-disruptive and show dramatic improvements to performance.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and thank customers for their patience during this time.

Domain Central
9th April 2009
Domain Central has been experiencing intermittent service disruptions to Email for the past week.
Most recently we were subjected to a Spam attack that has caused significant performance degradation on our Email Platform.
Our system administrators have been working tirelessly to address the problem, and are currently working on an emergency migration to a new service platform to address the hardware issue, as well as implementing new measures to address the spam.
We expect the service to be restored approximately 04:00PM Australian Eastern Standard Time on Thursday 9th April.
Email is currently being stored in a mail-queue, and we expect that 99% of email stored in our queue should successfully deliver when the service is restored.
Our customer support team is currently inundated with calls and emails, and we ask that any customer experiencing email issues to refer to this website for updates on the incident, and refrain from contacting our team unless your matter is critical and is not related to the email outage.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and thank you for your patience.
