# How to update WhoIs Information for a domain

You can update the WhoIs information for a domain using below steps:

1. Login to your Client Area account
2. Click on **Domains** >> **My Domains**
3. You will be taken to a page listing all of your domain names.
    From here, click on the drop-down arrow next to the status of the domain name on the far right of the screen
4. In the drop-down menu, click on the **Edit Contact Information** option
5. From here, you can update the Whois Information for your domain name.

***NOTE** - For .au domain names, you will need to do a Change of Registrant (COR) in order to change the Company Name. Please contact us if you need to do this.*
