# Using File Manager in WP Squared

# File Manager

Use the File Manager interface to manage and edit your files.

## Overview

The *File Manager* interface displays a directory of your folders. You can use this interface to manage and edit your files.

To access the *File Manager* interface, open the *Expanded Website View* interface and click the File Manager (![filemanager.png](https://docs.wpsquared.com/images/filemanager.png)) icon in the left menu bar.

## Search your files #

You can search for a specific file using the *Search* text box. To narrow your search, select a filter using the *Search* menu.

A new interface displays the filenames that match your search. To view the contents of a folder, double-click the desired folder in the list.
