Where on my website does the banner need to go?
The banner must be placed on your home page in a position that is visible to all visitors without scrolling. A header, footer, or sidebar are all acceptable positions as long as the banner is not obscured by other elements.
Can I choose which banner I display?
Yes. We provide a range of sizes and colour styles so you can choose whichever best suits your website’s design. You must display at least one banner at all times.
Can I resize the banner to fit my layout?
The banners are provided in standard sizes to suit most layouts. You should not resize, stretch, or alter the banner in any way. If none of the available sizes work for your site, contact us and we can look at providing an alternative size.
Does the banner need to be linked?
Yes. The banner must be linked to www.domaincentral.com.au at all times. A banner displayed without the link does not meet the program requirements.
Can I modify the banner colours or add text to it?
No. The banners must be displayed exactly as provided. You cannot alter the colours, add text, apply filters, or modify them in any other way.
What happens if I remove the banner?
Displaying the banner is a condition of the Community Hosting Program. If the banner is removed or altered, your account may be suspended. If you no longer wish to display the banner, you are welcome to move to one of our standard hosting plans at any time.
Can I use my own design instead of the provided banners?
No. Only the official Domain Central Community Hosting banners are acceptable. If you have a specific requirement, please contact our friendly team to discuss.
