The first step in initiating the Transfer of a domain to Domain Central from another registrar is to obtain your Domain Password (sometimes referred to as the auth code or EPP code) from your current provider.

One you have your domain password, you can submit your transfer order with Domain Central. Each domain type has a different set of rules on how transfers are handled. Some will require a years renewal payment to initiate the transfer (which is added to your existing registration period once transfer is complete) and other domains do not require any payment to initiate transfer and your current registration period will simply carry across.

Some domain types and registries will also send an email to the registrant email for approval before a transfer will be finalised. Please keep an eye on your email and approve any required transfer email to avoid delays in the transfer process.

Once the transfer has been approved, the finalisation process will occur in the background until complete. Once completed you will be able to manage your domain from within your Domain Central client area.
