.works
A .works domain is a generic top-level domain operated by Binky Moon, LLC. It is a new extension built on a word with a generic meaning, so it suits a wide range of uses. Recruitment sites can advertise job openings, artists and designers can show their work online, and musicians and galleries can promote their output.
The registry supports DNSSEC, which helps protect your domain from tampering in transit. Names can be between 1 and 63 characters long, and internationalised names are allowed. Registrations run for 1 to 10 years, and renewals are added in one year steps, so you can choose a term that suits your budget.
A .works domain is a good choice if your work is creative, technical or practical and the word fits what you do. Before you register, check that your chosen name is short and easy to say, and that your contact details are correct for the registry.
