.mx
A .mx domain is the country code domain for Mexico. It is operated by the Mexican registry NIC Mexico, which is part of ITESM in Monterrey. The extension is used by organisations and individuals who want a web address linked to Mexico.
Registration is for a minimum of one year, and you can renew in one year steps. Names can be between 3 and 63 characters long. The registry supports DNSSEC, which helps protect your domain’s DNS records from tampering. Internationalised names are not allowed, so your domain must use standard characters.
A .mx domain is a good choice if your audience is in Mexico or you want a local presence online. Before you register, check that your chosen name meets the 3 to 63 character limit and uses no non-standard characters. Registration can take 1 to 3 days to complete.
Registration is open to anyone.
