.dental
A .dental domain is a generic top-level domain run by Binky Moon, LLC. It is aimed at dental practices and suppliers of teeth-related products, who can use it to make their online presence easier to find.
The registry supports DNSSEC, which helps protect your domain from certain tampering. Names can be from 1 to 63 characters long, and internationalised names are allowed. Registrations run for 1 to 10 years, and renewals are added in one-year steps.
A .dental domain suits a dental clinic, a dental supplier or a product range that clearly relates to teeth and oral care. Before you register, check that the name you want is available and that your contact details are accurate, because the registry expects them to stay current.
Registration is open to anyone worldwide.
You do not need a local presence in any particular country to register.
Your contact details must be accurate and kept up to date throughout the registration.
Your .dental domain has a 40-day grace period after it expires.
During the grace period you can still renew the domain, and your name keeps working while you do.
There is no separate redemption period.
If you do not renew within the grace period, the name is released afterwards for anyone to register.
You can transfer an existing .dental domain to Domain Central from another provider.
You need the authorisation (EPP) code from your current registrar, and the domain must be unlocked.
A transfer usually completes within 5 to 7 days.
A domain cannot be transferred within 60 days of its registration or of a previous transfer.
Changing the registrant of your .dental domain is done through your registrar.
The change does not alter the expiry date of the domain.
