A .land domain is a generic top-level domain operated by Binky Moon, LLC. It is a newer extension, and it is open to anyone who wants a name that signals land, property or real estate.
Your .land domain supports DNSSEC, which helps protect visitors against tampered DNS responses. Names can be between 3 and 63 characters long, and internationalised names are allowed. Registrations run for a minimum of 1 year and renew in 1 year increments, with terms of up to 10 years available. Local presence is not required, so you can register from anywhere in the world.

- Any individual or business may register a .land domain, with no local presence required.
- Your contact details must be accurate when you register.
- You must keep your contact details current for the life of the domain.
Renew before the expiry date to keep your name without interruption.
- After expiry there is a 40 day grace period during which you can still renew your domain.
- There is no separate redemption period.
- If the domain is not renewed, the name is released afterwards and may be registered by someone else.
You can transfer an existing .land domain to Domain Central from another provider.
- You need the authorisation (EPP) code from your current provider, and the domain must be unlocked.
- A transfer normally takes 5 to 7 days to complete.
- A domain cannot be transferred within 60 days of registration or of a previous transfer.
- A successful transfer adds one year to the registration term.
You can change the registrant of your .land domain through Domain Central.
- The change is made through the registrar and does not alter the expiry date.
