Optional POP settings #
IMAP is recommended because it keeps your email synchronised across webmail, mobile devices and Outlook.
If you specifically need POP, use the following settings:
| Account type | POP |
|---|---|
| Incoming mail server | pop0101.titan.email |
| Incoming port | 995 |
| Incoming encryption | SSL/TLS |
| Outgoing mail server | smtp0101.titan.email |
| Outgoing port | 465 |
| Outgoing encryption | SSL/TLS |
Important: POP may download mail into Outlook rather than keeping it fully synchronised with Titan Webmail and other devices. IMAP is recommended for most users.
Troubleshooting #
- Check that your email address has been entered in full, for example name@yourdomain.com.au.
- Make sure there are no spaces before or after the email address, server name or password.
- Confirm that the incoming server is imap0101.titan.email and not your domain name.
- Confirm that the outgoing server is smtp0101.titan.email.
- Use SSL/TLS encryption for both incoming and outgoing mail.
- Do not use SPA / Secure Password Authentication unless specifically instructed by support.
- If you recently changed your password, update the saved password in Outlook for both incoming and outgoing mail.
