How to setup an Email Alias in Titan

2 min read

Email aliases let you create additional email addresses that forward into an existing Titan mailbox without requiring a separate mailbox or login.
For example:

  • sales@domain.com → delivers to john@domain.com
  • info@domain.com → delivers to support@domain.com

Aliases are perfect for teams, role-based addresses, or consolidating email into one mailbox.

Before You Begin #

  • You must have an active Titan Email plan on your domain.
  • Aliases can only be created for existing mailboxes (you cannot create an alias without a primary mailbox).
  • Aliases do not have their own login — all mail is delivered to the target mailbox.

How to Add an Email Alias

Step 1 — Log in to Your Client Area #

  1. Visit https://clients.domaincentral.com.au/clientarea.php
  2. Sign in using your account email address and password.

Step 2 — Open Your Titan Email Service #

  1. Go to Services → My Services
  2. Click your Titan Email subscription.
  3. Select Manage Email Accounts.

This will take you to the Titan Email control panel for your domain.

Step 3 — Edit the Mailbox You Want the Alias Delivered To #

  1. Find the mailbox you want the alias to deliver into (for example, john@domain.com).
  2. Click Manage.

Step 4 — Add the Alias #

Inside the mailbox settings:

  1. Go to the Aliases tab.
  2. Click Add Alias.
  3. Enter the alias address (for example, sales@domain.com).
  4. Save your changes.

The alias becomes active immediately.

Sending Mail From an Alias (Optional)

If you want to send email using the alias as the From address, complete the additional setup below.

Titan Webmail #

  1. Log in to app.titan.email.
  2. Go to Settings → Email Aliases.
  3. Enable “Allow sending from this alias”.
  4. Follow the verification steps if prompted.

Desktop or Mobile Email Apps #

You will need to add the alias as an additional From identity using Titan’s SMTP settings.

Common Questions

Do aliases cost extra? #

Email aliases are included in Premium and Ultra Plans

Can I add multiple aliases to one mailbox? #

Yes. Titan supports multiple aliases for a single mailbox.

Can I create an alias that forwards to an external email address? #

No. Titan aliases can only deliver to Titan mailboxes on the same domain.

Do aliases work with forwarding rules or filters? #

Yes. Once an email reaches your mailbox via an alias, it behaves exactly like any other email and can be processed by your folders, filters and forwarding rules.
